So K had a birthday again this year.....funny how they always come around the same time every year! She turned 11 this year. So hard to believe she is already that old. She has grown taller and looks older to me....where did did my baby go?
Anyway, I think she had a fun birthday. It is an ODD year so no big friend birthday party. However, I did let her invite 2 friends from school over for a sleepover the night before. She was so excited to have them over. They watched movies, ate snacks and even went outside and looked through the telescope.
Then on her birthday we went to the Zoo. She invited a different friend to go do that with her and we were glad that her whole family went since the mom is my friend and the sister is J's friend. We took our lunch and had a great day. We got to see the new elephant exhibit and it is fabulous!
That night we went to Red Robin for her birthday dinner....her choice. We had a yummy meal as usual.
Then it was home for presents and chocolate cream pie.
