FRED and water fun!

Duke loves summer just as much as the rest of us.  He spends most of his day doing this....

in hopes of seeing this.....

and then doing this....

We love to watch him with his squirrel obsession.  And because this squirrel loves to taunt Duke, we have decided that it needed to be more personal.  So we have named the squirrel Fred.  Actually our neighbor named it, but we thought it fit well.  Fred will come by at least once a day normally and I think he gets a kick out of getting Duke to chase him.  He will sit out there for hours with his eyes on the fence just waiting for Fred to come by.  Maybe it is a love affair in the works! :) (Ok, then we would have to name it Freda, I guess)

Ever since we have had Duke, he loves it when we get the hose out to water the garden.  He loves for us to spray it near him---not on him.  He only likes it when the sprayer is on certain settings and will not go after the water unless it is set to one of those.  He will constantly bite at the water and go around in circles to chase it.  It is very comical and we still get a kick out of watching him.
