HOLy HaiL BatMan!

This last few days, we have had some crazy weather....rain, tornadoes, sun, heat, wind, and HAIL!

The first storm we ended up only having pea sized hail with lots of rain and wind.  The next day was gorgeous and K and I spent it outside hiking and laying in the grass.  But once the evening hit, so did the storm.  This time we were right in the thick of it and we got pounded!

It started out slow with rain and the sky looked so cool. 

Then as I was taking a picture, I heard a thud.  What was that?  Then maybe another 30 seconds later, another thud.  We thought that was so odd that it was so intermittent.  Then it hit.....small at first, then a few more big ones.....

.....and then the big ones.  It lasted for a bit and afterwards we went outside and picked up some of the biggest ones.

 

Thank goodness we had both cars in the garage at the time.  Can you say....a new roof!!!!
