My baby recently had a birthday and it was kind of over-shadowed by our fantastic cruise we took. K turned 7 the day we flew to Florida, so we celebrated the day before that. We were in Arizona so she was able to have her cousins with us too. She chose to go bowling and In-N-Out for dinner. Afterwards, we went back to the house and went swimming. She had a cute pink cake and then she opened presents. She thought it was great that Aunt Debbie gave her her very own pint of cookie dough ice cream. She liked that the best I think. While she was sleeping, I decorated the house with pink and black (those were the colors she picked) crepe paper and lots of balloons. She was sad we were leaving which in turn made me sad. After all, she is my baby girl. She keeps reminding me that she still needs her friend party now that we are back home. I thought I would get away without that this year, but she won't let me forget. I have been so busy since we have been back from Spring Break but I guess next week I will have to focus on that. I have no idea what to do, but I am sure she has it all planned out in her mind. She wasn't too thrilled that we were not at home for her birthday, but I think after it was all said and done, she had a great time!

I hear ya...I love the stage we are in with no diapers etc...and kids still at home, but we only have 2.5 yrs til taylor goes on a mission and it makes me sad so we are packin in the fun family stuff now...Love ya!

Holy cow she's 7? Where has the time gone?!?! It looks like she had a great time. In N Out is always a great place to celebrate!
