Geo "what" ing?

Geo caching!! Have you ever been? You are missing out because it is way fun. I remember my cousin (Hi Tonya) blogging about going and how they love it. I have always wanted to go and today we finally went with some friends of ours. They got online and found several spots in Palmer Park that we could go to. They are everywhere and anywhere and to have so many right in our backyard is perfect. So today, we spent all afternoon hiking around searching for these caches. We took little items with us to swap out what we found. The little girls were so excited to see what was in each of the containers. Some are easier to find than others. We found 4 out of the 5 that we searched for. We are so anxious to go again. It was such a beautiful day to go, too. I am sure we got some good sun and we got some great exercise in to boot. I know the little girls will sleep good tonight. I am sure I will too. (Hey Tonya, we want to go with you guys when we come for a visit next time)

How fun!! I've heard people talking about this. Is it like a treasure hunt? You put a little trinket in and take something out?

I am SO HAPPY to hear you love it...we are totally in for a whole day of geocaching when you come next. We all love it so much, and I have a bag of geocaching items I save to trade. We were so disapointed when we got to Oregon we realized we forgot our GPS and ther are TONS of them there. We kicked ourselves ther whole time and ALMOST just went and bought another one, but didn't. Yeahhh...let us know when you are coming next. I am glad you had another fun day :)

I have never heard of that. I didn't get exactly what it was you were doing. My kids love hikes (when it's not 100 degrees out) so this might be something they'd really get into as well.
