This is what my hubby got for Father's Day this year............
I thought he deserved a new one since the last one I bought him was for Father's Day when M was a year old---after 13 years, I think it was past time. Look at the size difference---and the old one was a really good one at the time, too. Isn't it amazing how technology is constantly changing.
So for dinner on Sunday, my hubby had no problems cooking his own dinner---he wanted to try out his new toy. Can I say----those were the best steaks I have ever had. So juicy and moist! I think we are going to have a lot of fun cooking outdoors this summer.
After that yummy dinner of Rib-eye steaks, corn on the cob, fruit, salad and the best Lion House Raspberry muffins ever, we settled in for some homemade gifts, Wipeout, and a game of Gift Trap. To finish up, we had Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. I think hubby was pleased with HIS day!
Happy Father's Day to the best husband ever and a great dad to our children.
I love you honey!
And I Can't Forget.....
MY DAD!
I must say that he is by far the best dad in the whole wide world. I am not biased at all. Granted I am the baby of the family and was lucky enough to get to spend the last 3 years of high school being the only child at home. Yes, that meant being spoiled and getting to do things and go places that my older siblings didn't get to do. But more than that, it meant that I grew closer to my parents and they became two of my best friends. Because of that "alone" time, I have a very special relationship with my father that I would never trade for all the money in the world. So on this Father's Day, I have to give a shout out to my "daddy". I LOVE YOU DAD!
(thanks for the pix mom!)

Great grill! :)
Yummm! BBQs are my favorite, and that looks like a terrific one. Cute pix of the family too. Are the smiles from that good dinner dad fixed?? Have fun this summer!
We want to have a BBQ!! It looks like you have room to cook a whole cow on that grill! We love ribeyes (hint, hint), YUM!!
I am amazed you had a grill for 13 years. Ours used to blown all over the deck in CO. We replace them every few years. Rain or shine you will find us grilling (even in the snow out west)
