Just Dance, Baby

Ok, so I mentioned a new Wii game that we got last month that is way too fun for words.  So I have been wanting to have a "Just Dance" party ever since.  With all the other things going on in life for everyone, we finally got our chance.  We invited a few couples over Friday night to play this game and we had an absolute blast.  It was extra nice since all my kids were gone and we had the house to ourselves (when does that ever happen around here?)  Although M was very sad that she was going to miss the sight of us adults dancing.

I picked out some songs that I thought would be the most fun.  I had each couple do the same song and then we recorded the scores.  The one with the highest score for each song got a certificate and a prize relating to that song.  I also picked out a song that all the men would do together....of course I had to pick one that would be the funniest to watch, so "Womanizer" was the one.  It had the most hip action and it was indeed fun to watch those men try and get their hips moving side to side.  We ladies had a good laugh.  The prize for winning that one was Axe body spray.  Not to be left out, I also picked "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" for the ladies to perform with a chocolate bar for the prize.  Afterwards we chowed down on some good food and conversation.  Not ready to go home to kiddos just yet, we sat down and played some more Wii games and laughed some more.  What a great night we had.  I am so grateful for good friends that can let down their hair and have some fun.  Party #2 is already in the works.

The above photo and the two below are doing the same song and yet the movements are not in sync....Hmmmm, who is off???

Notice that each man's arm is in a different position???

It was so funny to watch them do "Womanizer" as can been seen by my friend in the background

How FUN! Kelsey Marshall had a video of her and some of her friends playing that game on facebook. I am thinking I might need to ask for it for Christmas.

Sounds like a blast! So glad you had a fun evening like that. I noticed you may not have all been in sync with each other, but there were lots of smiles all around!

How fun!! We played that with a group of adults and I think we have more fun than the kids do!! It's as much fun to watch as it is to play! I want to see some video of those guys shaking their hips. =)
