We first started watching it out front and then noticed that most of the brightness was coming from behind the house. By that time it was really windy and had started to rain, so we moved inside to my bedroom window. I must admit, that was the best spot to see all over-east and west. So of course, out comes the camera and I finally got the shot I was waiting for. It only took me a couple hundred shots to get it, but I actually got a few other good ones, too. Can't wait for next Monday night!

I also had to post this pretty picture of a rainbow that K took a few days ago. She was so excited to see it because it went all the way around she said. I thought it was a great picture for a 7 year old.

Ahh, I can honestly say I miss the stormy weather in CO... I has been HOT here. ;)
I love those pix!! Wasn't it crazy last night?! I love it!
I miss the CO storms too (although we get some killer ones here too). What a wonderful picture of the lightening and yes, very good picture of the rainbow too. I left Kai's window open once when a rainstorm hit in CO (he was still in his crib and couldn't talk) and SOAKED the floor, curtains, you name it. :)
