Here is another thing that was happening this past weekend. Aside from M having a track meet in Denver (it was so cold that we watched her from the warm car) and T having orientation for his new job.....yes he finally got one and we are all thrilled, especially T of course, it was PROM.
This is not T's high school prom, but his girlfriend's, Melanie, for Vista Ridge High school. She asked him by bringing over a chocolate cake. When T went to cut in to it to have a piece, he found that it was actually a bunch of paper plates stacked together with words on them asking him to Prom. He responded by having her mom put YES on a napkin and put it on her pillow.
Cute, huh?! I have the most handsome son around. And he looks so sharp in his tux.
Pictures ended up being at her house since it was actually snowing that night....yea, I said SNOW at the end of April, over Easter weekend. The park will have to wait for another time. They went to dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ and then to the Pinery in Black Forest. They had a really good time and danced their socks off. He can't wait til next weekend!
