Spring Break!!

We love Spring Break!  I love being able to sleep in, although I was very good this year and still got up early to exercise.  (Now if I could just stay on track with eating then the exercise would really be a benefit)

With 2 weeks, we have plenty of time to do fun things, but also can be lazy and do nothing at all.  It is the best.  We opted out of going anywhere since the gas prices are so stinkin high and we are trying to save for a summer trip, so we had a good time doing things around here.

So here are some of the things we did.........

BOWLING!

MINI GOLFING!

DOLLAR MOVIES! (twice)

ROLLER SKATING!!

We also helped a friend move one day and then clean the old house another day!

OUT FOR LUNCH!

Birthday celebrating, so pizza and games!

Haircuts, painting, cleaning house, hanging shades, shopping

ZOO!

Volleyball games, track meets, plus practices every day for both

Exercising, babysitting, getting sunburned, and Sonic

And to wrap up the 2 weeks, watching General Conference and eating cinnamon rolls and hot wings!  That is always so much fun to be together as a family for the entire weekend, staying in jammies, eating, and being spiritually uplifted.  I love it!

Now back to the grind with everyone either going back to school or working.....Duke gets a much deserved break from the family and gets to spend the day alone in peace and quiet.  I wish I could be there for that....guess that will have to wait a day.
