Easter 2011

Also during my birthday weekend, EASTER!  Normally the Easter Bunny comes Saturday morning, but he must have been really busy too since gifts were not left until Sunday morning.  And because of all the events of Saturday, we never got our egg hunt in this year.  And the coloring of eggs ended up being on Monday......what a crazy time. So crazy in fact, I deleted the pix of the colored eggs, but they looked so cool as we tye-dyed them this year.  So sad!

But we did celebrate Easter the way it really should be.....by going to church, being with family and thinking of Christ.  We also had a wonderful ham dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls.  That evening we watched the DVD "Finding Faith in Christ", read the Easter story with the eggs and symbols, had family scripture study and family prayer.  It was the perfect way to spend the day together as a family.

Had to take some picutres of new Easter decorations for this year.  Love this bunny and his carrots.  (real Deals is a fun store htese days)

And my friend and I made these cute carrots for our door.  Love the way they turned out.
