Last night we attended M's softball banquet where we were served Mexican food for dinner. We were very surprised that it was actually good. M really wanted pizza, but I was fine with something different for a change.
She did very well this year as catcher. She played a few positions last year, but only played catcher this season. She was not happy about that, but when you can play a position so well, just as well stick to it. And because of that, she was given the "Hustle" award for always giving it her best and showing enthusiasm. She really did have a great time playing this year. CONGRATS M!

Cool! I love when you get to go and bask in the glow of your successful children, don't you? Somehow it always feels to me as f I've accomplished something along with them. Congrats to M! She's a star!
