71 Minus 45 Degrees = SPRING???

At least that equation is correct in Colorado.  Spring officially starts tomorrow and you would never know it from our weather today.

Yesterday it looked like this when T went and took his driving test... 71 degrees, shorts, sunroof open, just gorgeous!
Yes, it is official, we now have to pay a gazillion more dollars to insure our automobiles for our teenage son.  Thank goodness for the "good grade" discount (not that you would ever know it from the actual amount)  He is so thrilled to finally have it after waiting patiently for an extra 2 months while we did some research on insurance plans.  He was anxious to "take a drive" on his own afterwards.

Today, it looks like this.........26 degrees, windy, fireplace going, just plain yucky!
Waking up for seminary this morning, I turned on the news to find that school was cancelled for the day.  When I got up to look outside to see how bad the weather was, there was not a snowflake to be seen.  NO SNOW WHATSOEVER!  Looked just like it did the morning before, only the sky was cloudier.  You've got to be kidding me!  Seriously, no school???  Ok then, we can start Spring Break early-I really have no problem with that.  So back to bed I go and oh it felt so good.  When I woke up a few hours later, it had started to snow and it just went from there.

There is certainly something wrong with this picture! This week has been so gorgeous with the sun shining and being in the 60's--I even went out and worked in my garden for a bit.  Mother Nature is such a tease!  Can we seriously be done with this winter already!

Wow, it's crazy to me you have SNOW! Supposed to be in the high 70's here today. House next door for sale. :) You'd be in your element in FL weather.

Yeah, not a fan of the snow either. My cheeks are pink from playing at the park on Thursday and then no one even wanted to go outside yesterday. Dear Spring, please come soon, for real! Congrats on your licencse, T!!
