She invited 4 friends over (one did not come) to make french bread pizzas, sugar cookies, play games, watch movies and spend the night. These sleepovers are the best kind cuz I really don't have to supervise them-although being teenagers some might think that is when you really should hover. She even wanted to decorate her own cake. She did a great job and man can I tell you that it was one of the easier parties I have done for my kids.
Then this morning we headed to the bowling alley to knock down some pins. We all had a great time and my family decided that we needed to bowl more often cuz we had way too much fun together. And BTW.... I beat my hubby in both games. You heard me--killed him! Okay, well maybe not a slaughter, but it was a win none the less.
After that, they came back to the house for cake and ice cream, a Silly String fight, and opening presents. I think it was a successful party.
She does have a few good friends that she can count on. I am thankful to them for sticking by M, having such good values, and just being super nice girls.
Happy 14th (again)
