Comfort Dolls

For Activity Days, K and the other girls took a few meetings to make Comfort Dolls.  These dolls are for those little children that the police come across at accident scenes or fires or wherever that they may be scared and need some comfort.  What a great idea huh?!  K was so excited to do them....each girl made one...she wanted to make more once she got home.

Here are the girls with their finished dolls at church one Sunday.....can you see K's bright pink doll?

And then they had an activity where they all met at the police station near our house and presented them to the officers in their morning meeting.  I think they all thought it was cool to shake the policeman's hands. 

What a great service they are providing for the children in their community.
