Does It Have To Be Over?

I love this school district for the sheer fact that it has 2 weeks for Spring Break and also for Fall Break.  I love it!!  (Maybe even more than the kids)  It is a time to sleep in (oh so good), be lazy if you want to, spend time with my kids, and maybe even travel somewhere fun(I always love that)!

This Spring Break is coming to a close fast and I am not sure I am ready for the normal routine to start again.  But we have had a very nice, relaxing break.  Some days we did nothing at all, while others we were gone the entire day playing.  Here are some of the things we did:

     *track practice
     *playing volleyball

     *watching volleyball
     *library
*playing outside in the snow AND in the sunshine
     *geocaching
     *shopping
     *family visits
     *birthday parties
     *a baptism (most important)
     *eating out

     *working on a science experiment
     *girl's night out
     *playing basketball
     *mom/kid time

     *swimming
     *eating out
     *watching movies
     *playing games with friends
     *going to the park
     *throwing the softball
     *driving with the sunroof open

*gardening (at least clearing the dead stuff away)
*seeing the grass green up and the tulips coming up - I love Spring!
     *Garden of the Gods
     *Manitou Springs
     *hiking the Incline
     *helping out friends
     *appointments-doctor, Ortho, pictures, hair

*cashing in on a birthday certificate to have pedicures, manicures and highlights
*zoo to see the two new baby giraffes ......

and of course, the grizzly bears for K

*Will Rogers Shrine

I think we fit a lot in, but also had a good time doing nothing too.  And what a way to end the break by watching General Conference and celebrating Easter (that will be another post).  We didn't get to travel to far off places, but we did have fun being together and that makes me happy just the same!

I wouldn't know what to do with 2 weeks of spring break, that's a long time! I am exhausted after 1 week off!
