Olympic Fever!

It all started 2 years ago when the Winter Olympics were on.....the kids were transfixed.  They loved it!  All of a sudden...this was so cool to watch and they couldn't get enough.  We even got the WII game to play and we spent hours playing it.

We have been to the Olympic Training Center many times....seen some athletes practicing....seen some competitions....even gotten some pictures taken with the athletes.  It is great to live so close.  But these Summer Games this year in London have been awesome.  Every one of us have been glued to the TV for the past couple of weeks.....we have loved it.  M has been sad this last week because she has had school and hasn't been able to watch during the day.  Thank goodness we have a DVR....but finding the time to watch is another story.  Anyway, we have loved seeing all the action.

So since the Olympic fever is rampant in our home, we took a trip to the OTC.

Yea, not the best time to go since there is NO athletes there practicing....but we loved it anyway.    And for the first time, I bought everyone something in the gift shop.  We are very patriotic in our home and so we were proud of Team USA and all that they accomplished at the games....we couldn't cheer loud enough  ....GO USA!!!!
