Summer SB!

In between the many things that M had going on this summer, she managed to play softball.  She hasn't played summer ball before but really wanted to so we were able to squeeze it in.  She missed about half the games but the coach was great to still let her play.  She had a blast.  Her most favorite thing to do is play under the bright lights at night and with games starting as late as 8:45, she was able to do that.

She played a couple of positions but her favorite is still 1st base. She is hoping that will be her mainstay this upcoming season at school.

I love the bright NEON yellow shirts they had this year....can't miss what field they are playing on that is for sure.  The highlight of the season came in the very last game....up for bat....2nd pitch....M hits an in field home run!   HOME RUN!!!!!  It was awesome and I think everyone for miles heard me yelling for her.  She was so thrilled and excited.  Of course, she got the game ball that night.  You Rock M!
