This is our dog Duke. . . . . . Isn't he cute?!
This is what he has been doing the last week. . . . CONSTANTLY!
Normally I would get on him for licking his paws that much, but poor thing. . . We think he sunburned the pads of his feet when he went to the park last Saturday. He has been limping around and just not being his normal self for days. The big pads are creased and we think it may be like a blister or something. He has been laying around doing not much of anything. . . not even chasing squirrels. That is saying something for this dog. So we are all feeling sorry for him and he is getting lots of extra love.
All together now every one. . . . . . .AAAAAAAAH! POOR THING!
UPDATE: It has been almost 2 weeks since that walk to the park and he is much better. However, we did confirm that he did indeed burn his feet as part of his pads have peeled off and are very red and tender. He is bouncing back, but dog owners beware---they can burn their feet.

OUCH! Poor baby...sunburns stink. I had no idea they could get sunburned... :o(
