Sky Sox

Tonight was the perfect summer night for a baseball game.  We have had rain in the evening the last several nights and I was happy that tonight was not one of them.
We had a good time watching the Sky Sox play against Oklahoma.  They were winning 5-2 when we left at the bottom of the 7th inning.  It sure stinks when it is a school night and we have to get home to get kids to bed.  I miss those lazy summer nights when we could go to bed whenever we wanted to.
~Notice I got this shot just as he broke the bat.  Not bad huh?!

If you have ever been to one of their games, you know they tend to scan the crowd and put up various people on the screen and tonight seemed to be our night.  Right off the bat, they showed us and then we were up there at least 3 more times before we left.  At one point they put up a "Kiss Cam" and when a couple is shown in the heart, they want you to kiss.  They were showing several people when all of a sudden I notice a familiar face up on the screen......my hubby.  Only they had him paired with my daughter, M.  It was quite funny.....I was surprised and caught off guard or I would have leaned over and kissed him from the other side.  M wasn't sure if she should be offended by that shot or not.  It was way too funny.
The season is winding down, but we plan to get to one more before it is over.  I am really not a huge fan of baseball so I really don't understand why I like to go to the games like I do.  Batter batter SWING!
