I love to decorate my house and I have found that I only have a few items for St. Patrick's Day, so I was excited when a friend found a cute sign to make for the holiday.
So cute and so very easy and way cheap.
Then I mentioned that I needed something for my front door. So we went to the Internet and searched the many craft blogs and found this adorable sock wreath........
Again, very easy and cheap. I loved the "frame" idea as well, so made that as well. How cute to have this frame up all the time and and just add something to the inside every month (or not....) Wish I had that gorgeous red door. It doesn't have the same effect with the glass behind it, but I still like it! I am so excited to see what fun things I can add to the frame every holiday!
One other thing.......my cousin posted this blog on her blog and I went to check it out. Thought there were some cute things to buy and also to make. I entered one of her contests and of course, didn't win. But she gave me a coupon for her Etsy store....so I had to buy this......
Thought it looked fun and different, AND I had the perfect spot for it in my newly painted living room. She customized it to the colors and size I wanted and I love it. Do you get it...the leaves of the tree are made up of all the letters in my last name. Isn't that cool!!
I have not been this crafty in years and I am really loving it. I just need to make this time for "me" and do these things again. It has been fun. Now if I could just get back to my scrapbooking.
